After scouting the UKs only love heart tub, I was eager to not only set my sights on it in real life but meet the owner behind the beautiful Art Deco inspired bathroom. Millicent, an ex-burlesque dancer, has created a boudoir to match her colourful, camp and cheerful personality.
On a totally unexpected sweaty Sunday in September, I arrived in faux fur knee high boots and a pink faux suede and fur trim coat (so naturally I was boiling! - British weather will forever be unpredictable and I will forever be inappropriately dressed). Millicent greeted me and was every bit as fab as I thought she would be. We headed to the bathroom and there she was in her full glory, THE HEART BATH TUB. It was love at first sight. We both got in and discussed the inspiration behind her home, where to hunt for hidden decor treasures and the story of the bath. ❤️
