Time Capsule Tour: Grannys Annexe

This place is special, it’s my late Grandparents home that led me to falling in love with all things Seventies and set me on my journey into the location world.

It’s kinda weird to see this place listed, it’s like a bittersweet feeling. Seeing a place empty that’s been a part of your history actually makes me feel what I’m building and what I’m creating here is so much more important seeing photos like this. Honouring a homes heritage and keeping its authentically retro features rather than ripping down the memories and completely renovating is so integral to respecting the past and for the community that supports and shares these values I hold so much love in my heart for you.

The photos were taken at the start of my journey to loving the Seventies and lit my mind on fire realising homes can live as walking, talking, living sets rather than needing to create a set from scratch. Still took me over a decade to put this into action and really realise that was my calling but I believe we take the paths we take are always the right timing even when you look back and say “If only I’d realised that earlier” because what we are destined for won’t miss us and in the meantime, there are lessons to be learnt on the journey taking to get there.

There is a potential for very select shoots to go in here whilst it’s on the market, and whilst I know due to the area and it being under development it’s unlikely this home will be preserved as it’s a big plot of land at a very reasonable price. Anyway she’s on sale for £400,000 in Lincolnshire, United Kingdom. Listed with Masons, Louth
