Hiring: Operations & Growth Coordinator
About A Beautiful Place To Get Lost Locations
A Beautiful Place To Get Lost is the world’s only retro and unique location agency, representing an archival anthology of the world’s most iconic properties for shoots, film, and events. While we operate on a global scale, this role is remote-first with a focus on a Cape Town/South African hire as we enter our next phase of growth and expand our production reach and location library portfolio.
About The Role
This is an exciting chapter of global expansion, and we are looking for a dedicated right-hand operator to work directly alongside our Founder & CEO as a core pillar of the business. We aren't rushing this hire - this is about finding the right person who wants to get stuck in, grow with the agency long-term, and champion every corner of the brand.
We are seeking a proactive, organised, and commercially sharp operator who loves running the operational side of things behind the scenes. Keeping our inboxes lively, handling client enquiries, finalising contracts, keeping our property listings flawless, ensuring our booking pipelines run smoothly, and actively seeking out new business.
Your time is your own. There is zero desire to micromanage anyone's hours here. As long as incoming enquiries are handled promptly, contracts are executed, property onboardings stay on track, and our agency pipeline runs smoothly, you have full autonomy over how you manage your day.
Key Responsibilities
Bookings & Sales Pipeline
Managing and responding to incoming briefs, property owner questions, and booking enquiries in a timely, professional manner.
Leading client briefs directly: optioning out suitable locations, scheduling recces, and managing shoot timelines and budgets to ensure a seamless process.
Handling the full booking pipeline: issuing quotes, drafting contracts, negotiating terms between hosts and production teams, and closing deals.
Proactively identifying key creative decision-makers across production houses, creative agencies, and global brands to nurture long-term commercial relationships and drive recurring bookings.
Efficiently managing multi-layered sales pipelines with the ability to multitask under pressure.
Location Scouting & Property Portfolio
Contacting prospective location leads delegated by the CEO and vetting incoming applications for suitability.
Managing the onboarding pipeline and guiding hosts seamlessly through the onboarding process.
Creating property pages for new locations - writing SEO-rich copy and organising photos with a strong aesthetic eye.
Uploading and publishing new locations to the website.
Proactively scouting for new locations that fit within A Beautiful Place To Get Lost’s distinct niche.
Social Media & Community Engagement
Scheduling weekly content (mostly Meta and LinkedIn) while identifying and engaging prospective clients.
Managing daily social engagement, DMs, and community responses across all agency platforms.
Formatting and sending our Monthly New Locations Newsletter to our client database.
You'll Have
You are resilient, autonomous, and entrepreneurial - a team player who thrives on achieving goals and pushing through the glass ceiling of growth. Administrative tasks, deep organisation, and closing open loops are second nature to you.
Tech: Mac proficient (you'll need your own Mac setup) and comfortable working across digital tools.
Bonus Points: Proficiency in G Suite, Outlook, ClickUp, or Squarespace is a major advantage.
Experience: Background in booking systems, account management, or production coordination (TV/film, photo, or locations) is a plus. Transferable skills from high-level admin, EA, or ops roles are completely welcome - what matters most is your attention to detail, communication, and drive to grow with us.
