An Underground Time Capsule Jewel

Many moons ago when I first peeked ‘Jewel’ through the eyes of another photographer I highly admire, Juno Calypso, I fell completely & utterly head over heels. Ever since then I became determined to one day work with the property in some capacity (little did I know then I’d be running my own location agency.

This is a real pinch me, “I’m pretty bloody proud of what I’ve built” moment to say - today is the day my perseverance paid off. As A Beautiful Place To Get Lost is one of the first official partners with the retro time capsule seventies underground bunker to represent the site for commercial use.

The interiors are pure 1970s luxury, featuring a swimming pool, hot tubs, a sauna, a dance floor, and a retro bar—each space infused with the bold design and atmosphere of the era.

The mansion includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, include a pink kitsch 1970s/1980s marble sunken bath dream - the kind I often create & lust after in AI design.

A surreal underground 1970s time capsule, this 16,000 sq. ft. hidden mansion sits 23 feet beneath the Las Vegas desert, offering a one-of-a-kind setting for film shoots, photo productions, and exclusive events. Built in 1974 during the Cold War era, this retro-futuristic retreat is an engineering marvel, blending vintage glamour with immersive design. Inside, artificial trees and hand-painted murals bring a cinematic fantasy to life, while a custom lighting system mimics shifting daylight and a twinkling night sky, transforming the space to suit any mood.
