GTFO Did I Just Discover A Mid-Century Inspired Office In Central London?

If you know the industry, you really bloody know how hard it is to find a film friendly office, especially a midcentury, retro one. It’s quite literally why Draper aka the iconic untouched 1960s,1970s & 1980s East London wood panelled office is the most regularly booked location on my location agency.

So finding this place was like discovering Antoinette, the wildly oversized three tiered sculpture 80s wedding cake, a full blown pinch me I can’t believe I fucking found it moment. Like a 1970s midcentury inspired office in central london as good looking as this? GTFO.

Yeah no seriously gtfo because after six months of negotiations & persistence it’s fallen victim to being a non starter and the sensibilities of it being too disruptive for operations to allow occasional hire for filming and photo shoots…

& honestly I want to throw every toy out of every fucking pram to ever exist because ooooomg did I really really like REALLY want this one.

She made my heart skip a beat or two and feel fully fucking giddy upon finding her.

But you know at least Sam & I got to witness her in her full glory first hand, spend a savagely brutal winters day soaking in just how stunning she is…

& snaps for me on the sheer tenacity in staying so persistent.

Honestly nothing haunts me more than losing out on this location in this present moment.
